Recenter is built to be a private space. Here is how your data is handled.
Your account is yours
You sign in with your own Google or email account. We do not have access to your password or social credentials.
Your data stays private
Your moods, meals, journal entries, meditations and chat messages are stored in your personal database row. Row-level security means only you - while signed into your account - can read or write your data.
AI companion conversations
Your coach uses live AI models through a secure gateway to respond supportively. We do not keep copies of your chat history beyond what is shown in the app, and we do not review or manually read your conversations. Please do not share medical diagnoses, passwords or payment details in chat.
What we do not do
We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or train public AI models on your entries.
Deleting your data
You can remove individual entries inside the app. If you want your entire account and all associated data deleted, email us at Jenny@myrecenter.app and we will erase it within 30 days.
Your email address
When you create an account, the email address from your sign-in is stored with your account so you can log back in. Jenny, who makes Recenter, can see the list of email addresses of people who have signed up.
Your email address is only ever used to email you about the app itself — updates, improvements and important notices. No marketing lists, no newsletters about other products, and it is never sold or shared with third parties. If you would like your account and everything in it deleted, email Jenny and it will be removed.
